The Sunni Muslim Wakf Committee is located in the heart of the Walled city, Ahmedabad. It works with an aim to provide bridges among all community to build an educated society. The committee provides social services & educational services to the society with a holy approach for the welfare of the society.
Historical Monuments
Maintaining & Protecting ancient historical monuments Ancient monuments are the valueable assets for our society, be it of any religion or community. Thos places give us a great pleasure to see. We, the Ahmedabad Sunni Muslim Wakf Committee, also provide Siddi Saiyad Jali Mosque, Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad Jama Masjid, Rani Sipri Masjid... and many other such monuments.
Managing Graveyards
Managing graveyards, poor feeding kitchens and boardings.For the needy brilliant students, we provide services like boarding facility,feeding kitchens etc. We also maintain most of the graveyards in Ahmedabad city. For example, Any dead body of the muslim community is taken care by the committee for his/her soul's peace. In the year 1999-2000, there were about 17 such corpses which had been taken care of by the committee.
Our Future Plans
The Sunni Muslim Wakf Committee at present has grown on a very large scale to provide Educational and Social Services to the society.Presently the committee has its own building spread over sq yards which serves places to all our activies.We presently have dedicated skilled manpower in each of the field however we want to expand our present area of our activities from one city to the entire state. In order to expand ourselves we require your moral financial as well as physical aids.
